The Pantone Color of the Year for 2022 is called “Very Peri” and it is such a gorgeous color! Vice President of the Pantone Color Institute, Laurie Pressman says, “the Pantone Color of the Year reflects what is taking place in our global culture, expressing what people are looking for that color can hope to answer… As society continues to recognize color as a critical form of communication, and a way to express and affect ideas and emotions and engage and connect, the complexity of this new red violet infused blue hue highlights the expansive possibilities that lay before us”. Color can represent so much more than what you see on the surface, and that is one of the many reasons why the Emily June Designs team loves incorporating color into our designs!
A Very Peri Design
Periwinkle is a color that we don’t see used very often, but in this design by Liz Caan we definitely see pops of it! The use of color in this design creates such a fun space, and all of the gold elements that stay consistent throughout the room help to balance out all of the color. The light periwinkle walls and accent chair are very unique because this color is not commonly seen, which makes this design stand out even more. Liz Caan took “banish the beige” to a whole new level!
