One of our favorite things about the fall season is that it brings family together! Going to a pumpkin patch with your loved ones and bringing them home to carve or paint is a great activity that brings everyone together for some fall fun. The great thing about carving and painting is that it allows everyone to create their own style for the season whether it be spooky or cute, it’s an artistic activity for all!

Sally Mckenney has created three cookbooks and is currently working on her fourth. On her blog, she has a popular fall dish which is named “The Great Pumpkin Pie Recipe” which includes the recipe, photo examples, and a video to follow along! Baking a pie and cooking with your family is a great way to spend time together in the fall season. Don’t be afraid to try new things out and have fun while you’re doing it! Mckenney has lots of other recipes on her website so go ahead and find anything you like to have some quality time with your loved ones (and some yummy food)!
