most important meal of the day nook

You know what they say - breakfast is the most important meal of the day! This breakfast nook design feels so cozy because of the designer’s layered use of textiles and the placement of the bookcase directly behind the seating. We love the various lighting options in this space with the chandelier above the table, the table lamp in the corner, and the art lights that highlight the perfectly styled bookshelves. What kid wouldn’t want to start their day in this beautiful space?

where imaginations can run wild

This designer’s use of color and pattern in this bedroom is sure to encourage any child to be there most creative self! We love all things Liberty London, and this combination of their striped wallpaper and the small scale floral fabric on the bed canopy is pattern play perfection. Little playful touches around the room are fairly subtle, but the details make all of the difference! From the fun nightstand hardware to the scalloped detail on the rug, every detail of this room is so whimsical.

energizing space to jump into a good book

A cohesive color palette makes for such a picture-perfect design, and this children’s reading nook is no exception! The designer’s mix of patterns creates the perfect balance with her combination of different motifs and scales. Children’s books fill the shelves, and the designer added a few bold accessories that add depth to the design. A comfortable and colorful window seat piled with fun pillows is the perfect spot for any kid to dive into a new story and let their imagination take them far!

a place to relax and recharge

Having a space to relax and unwind is important, and this bathroom is the ideal spot for that. The designer created a soft palette for this space with their use of soft blue and green, but added pops of red that make a statement. The unlacquered brass hardware and plumbing selections add character to the space with their slight patina. It’s like jewelry for the bathroom! Relaxing in this antique bathtub that is original to the house after a long day at school doesn’t sound too bad, especially being surrounded by that gorgeous blue zellige tile!

the ultimate sleepover spot

Sleepovers just got a whole lot more fun for this family with their fun and functional bunk room design! The consistency of the striped, plaid and crocheted patterns throughout the space make the room feel cohesive, while the mix of different colors on each bed adds a playful touch. Just imagine all of the laughs and memories that will be made in this space!
