Behind the Scenes: Explore Our Studio!

In the latest installment of the June Journal, we will be exploring our studio. We are so excited to show you around!

Let’s start by exploring the presentation room where we meet with clients and vendors. We decided to do the wallpaper on the ceiling and paint the walls white in order to avoid distracting from the samples that we display to present to clients. The natural light in this room is perfect and the white walls help to highlight all of the fun selections!

Our presentation room features several large boards where we pin up all of the selections for the client’s project that we are meeting about at the time. Being surrounded by all of the fabric, wallpaper, paint and tile selections can really help a client visualize the full concept for their home!

Our sample library spans two rooms of our studio, and includes fabrics, wallpapers, tile, paint and more. Fabrics are organized by color, including our “YOLO” bin which is where we put all of our fun multi-colored textiles! We enjoy having samples at our fingertips because it makes sourcing for projects seamless.

Thank you to our vendors

Our sample library couldn’t stay up-to-date without the help of our lovely vendors! Vendors will come visit our studio to present us with new collections from their respective brands, and we get to select what we like and what we want to keep in our library. Then, the vendor will send us the samples that we requested and we file them away in our library to be used in a future project! Having a library in our studio makes the selection process faster because we know that we have hand-picked each sample.

Many of our clients would agree that our powder bath is their favorite space in our studio! The bold Kristy Stafford wallpaper paired with the Rose Bay Cambria countertop is such a fun combination that makes us smile everyday.
