round top round up
The Emily June Designs team took a trip to Round Top this week and we can’t wait to share all about it! We're all about incorporating antiques into our designs and Round Top never disappoints. We spent hours exploring the various vendors and antique shops, discovering beautiful pieces that we couldn't wait to bring back to our studio. In this post, we will be sharing some of our favorite finds and vendors from our trip, so keep reading to join in on the fun!
Round Top Inspo
One of the best things about visiting Round Top is that it's not just about sourcing vintage and antique accessories and furniture. It's also a place where we can find inspiration in every corner! Every vendor brings their own unique style and taste to the table, and it's incredible to see how each booth is a reflection of the vendor's personality and vision. We love how Round Top is a hub for creativity, where we can immerse ourselves in a world of design and find inspiration in unexpected places. Whether it's a quirky accessory or a statement piece of furniture, there's always something to spark our creativity and imagination!
Houses & Parties
We were thrilled to finally visit Rebecca Gardner's booth at Blue Hills during our recent trip to Round Top. As the founder and creative director of Houses & Parties, we knew we were in for a treat. And boy, were we right! The booth was a whimsical wonderland, filled with unique furniture pieces, accessories, and even toys. It was a one-of-a-kind experience that we won't soon forget. We couldn't resist leaving without purchasing a few things to add to our own collection!
Marburger Day 1
Wow, opening day at Marburger was a blast! We arrived early and spent the whole day exploring every single vendor and all of the fun vignettes. Of course, we had to start by rushing over to our favorite vendor to ensure we didn't miss out on their incredible antique finds, and we were not disappointed! We ended up making a nice little antique haul to kick off our day, which only set the tone for an amazing day filled with even more exciting finds.
Hunt & Bloom
We were thrilled to visit Hunt & Bloom's booth at Marburger during our recent trip to Round Top. The company, founded by Will Hunt Lewis, has an amazing collection of curated antiques that appeal to all design lovers. From mid-century modern barware to hand colored French book plates from the 1700s, their collection is carefully considered and thoughtfully curated. What's even more exciting is that Hunt & Bloom just opened their shop right next door to our studio, so we can't wait to source more pieces from them in the future.
Until Next Time
Our recent trip to Round Top was truly unforgettable, and we're already counting down the days until our next visit. We can't wait to see what new and exciting finds we'll come across during our next adventure. Round Top is always full of surprises, and we love the thrill of discovering unique and one-of-a-kind pieces that we can incorporate into our designs. Whether we're sourcing vintage and antique accessories or finding new inspiration from the incredible vendors, Round Top never fails to amaze us. We're excited to share more about our future trips and the exciting finds that await us at Round Top. Stay tuned!
