round top: winter edition!
The Emily June Designs team recently traveled to Round Top, Texas for a weekend trip with K&N Appliances and JennAir. During the trip, we learned all about the latest JennAir appliances and we were so impressed by the features and design! You already know that we couldn't resist the temptation to explore Round Top, and ended up filling our car with unique and one-of-a-kind finds. Overall it was a successful and exciting trip for the Emily June Designs team, so keep reading to hear more about it!

a night at the round top inn
The Round Top Inn was such a nice place to stay and so close to all of our favorite places! The guest houses are vintage farmouses and cottages, and the rooms are decorated in a sophisticated country style. It is the perfect little getaway and a great place to spend the weekend!

our breakfast spot for the weekend: casa blanke
Before heading out to do some more shopping on Saturday morning, we stopped for avocado toast and lattes at Casa Blanke. This restaurant opened in September of this past year and it is the absolute cutest! The food was amazing and the service was even better. Next time you are in Round Top you need to check out Casa Blanke, just look for the iconic pink door!

so many fun vintage finds
The Emily June Designs team was on a mission this weekend! When we visit Round Top we like to source furniture pieces and accessories for our ongoing projects, along with fun things that we may keep in our inventory for future clients! When we find unique items it can be so difficult to pass them up. On this trip we found so many good lamps and a lot of vintage brass accessories, not to mention a trunk full of other goodies! We are already planning our upcoming trip for the Spring Show!
amazing food: royer’s style
JB & Jamie Royers of Royers Round Top Cafe cooked for us this weekend while demonstrating how to use the JennAir appliances! The food was amazing and we now have all the recipes from their cookbook! We have been to Royers cafe before on other Round Top trips, but it was cool to have them cooking for us in the JennAir kitchen. We will definitely be back!
