Here at EJD, we had a busy and exciting week with the team perfecting a client home install! After months of planning, designing, and sourcing, we finally brought everything together in a beautifully curated space. During the installation process, we have carefully placed custom furniture pieces, styled accessories, and layered in one-of-a-kind antique finds to create a home that feels both timeless and personal. Every detail—from the draperies to the artwork—was thoughtfully installed to ensure a seamless and personalized look. There’s no better feeling than walking into your home and seeing your design vision and personal style come to life! In this entryway, we placed an oak wood table featuring a scalloped inlay detail, perfect for displaying antique finds and eye-catching accessories that create a welcoming first impression. Above it, a gold leaf mirror hangs against custom wallpaper panels, reflecting natural light that brightens the space. As you move through the entry, each panel showcases a mix of artwork—both old and new—adding character and a sense of history to the home.

living room

A stunning wall of botanical artwork, inspired by our clients’ love for plants and flowers, brings natural beauty into the space! At EJD, we are incredibly grateful to our art installer for their dedication and precision in perfectly aligning these beautiful frames. Stay tuned for the upcoming living room reveal!

kitchen and dining room

In the kitchen and dining room, rich hues of purple, yellow, blue, and pink bring warmth and personality to the space—from the reupholstered dining chairs and vibrant kitchen cabinetry to the curated large bird artwork. A burl wood dining buffet adds depth and texture, serving as a stunning focal point, with a charming vintage butterfly teapot set displayed on top! To complete the look, two large lamps sit at either end of the buffet table, providing soft, ambient lighting—perfect for cozy evenings or entertaining guests.

guest bedrooms + bathroom

The guest bedrooms and bathroom are designed with soft pastel hues, seamlessly complementing the rest of the home. In one guest room, two twin beds with a scalloped-edge headboards are dressed in yellow linen bedding, creating a warm and inviting feel. A delicate butterfly artwork serves as the focal point, surrounded by additional floral pieces that contribute to the room’s whimsical charm.

The adjoining bathroom, which connects the two guest bedrooms, features two lilac-purple vanities paired with the most charming wavy-edge mirror—mirroring the scalloped detail of the beds for a cohesive design touch. In the second guest room, a beautifully carved wood dresser with bird motifs brings the space to life, adding character and texture. Custom drapery in a stunning floral pattern frames the bed, tying the entire space together!

The primary bedroom is a true showstopper, featuring a soft pink cross-hatch accent wall and a custom green bed frame. At the foot of the bed, two accent chairs add both style and comfort, making this space the ultimate retreat. Each bedside table is topped with coordinating green-patterned lamps, accompanied by small, timeless decorative pieces.

Above the bed, intaglio wall art sourced from Round Top is arranged asymmetrically, showcasing delicate pink and green florals that tie the design together. The same color palette carries into the primary bathroom, where soft pink hand towels and a custom vanity bench, reupholstered in a charming plaid pattern, create a cohesive look, perfectly reflecting the client’s style!
