Fashion Inspired by Interiors : Halloween Costume Edition

Spooky season is creeping up on us quickly! Lacking inspiration or need something last minute? Well, we got you! Earlier this summer we created a blog about fashion inspired by interiors, so this time we decided to put a fun twist on it and create a Halloween edit. We curated a fun read with some costume inspiration from interiors we were inspired by with shop-able links.

Breakfast at Tiffany’s

When I saw this tiny jewel box full of color and pattern it instantly reminded me of Breakfast at Tiffany’s!! Ironically enough, this apartment is also located on the Upper East Side just like the apartment in the movie! Designer Lilly Bunn did an exquisite job of incorporating bold, unexpected color and texture in this intimate foyer!

Wear the room

Our inspiration for the room above is Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s! Such a classic, so we went for a cozy look. If you aren’t in the mood for going all out this year, opt for this comfy costume for an at-home Halloween costume. The perfect costume to jump into bed and enjoy some Halloween candy! Shop the links below to get the look!!

Gossip Girl

How fabulous is this at home bar located in Connecticut?!? It needs no introduction whatsoever and can do all the talking. Designer Shazalynn Cavin Winfrey did a magnificent job with this space from the glossy green paint all around to the fun patterns of the seating. It feels like a cozy speakeasy or from a scene of Gossip Girl, which leads us to our next costume below!

Wear the room

Our inspiration for this costume from the room above is Blair Waldorf from Gossip Girl. In the show Blair was always known for her funky bold outfits which we thought was super appropriate coordinating this room and costume together. While she has many amazing outfits to choose from this one seemed to fit the bill!

13 Going on 30

Such a cozy and warm room to relax in after a long day! We love the look of the lacquered paint, especially incorporated into the book shelves. They layers of the patterns and prints really tie in elegantly together.

Thirty, flirty, and thriving! Another fun an easy costume to wear this Halloween! The room above inspired us to curate a costume Jenna Rinks wears in the movie. It reminded us of a room that would be in her doll house and correlated to her outfit. As always, the links to shop are down below!

How To Loose a Guy In 10 Days

So bright and so happy! This room is most definitely the opposite of vain. The scalloped detail really packs a punch in terms of adding an unexpected detail. We love the skirted fabric along the bottom as it allows for more interest and pattern in the room.

Feeling like getting a little bit dressed up with somewhere to go for Halloween?! Then this one is for you. Chanel your inner Annie Anderson with this pick!

Beetlejuice

Such a cozy and welcoming room designed by Phillip Thomas! Again, we love the layered look of colors and patterns and this room is the epitome of just that! When we found this fabulous room it made us think of Lydia Deetz’s wedding dress from Beetlejuice!
